Product Description

Introduction 
This manual includes the operating instructions and recommended maintenance practices for safe and effective use of an Ultrafiltration (UF) system capable of producing 2000lph of filtered water.
The system is completely self-contained and includes equipment required for unattended automatic operation.
It is recommended that the user read this entire manual and closely study the equipment, instrumentation, and controls before operating the UF system.
Technologies Utilized
Ultrafiltration -- An ultrafiltration (UF) system uses hydrophilic capillary membranes to separate a high percentage of suspended and dissolved molecules. Only certain types of molecules, like water, can pass through the membrane. Other larger molecules, like organic compounds, proteins, oils and suspended solids di not pass through the membrane and left behind. The membrane is made of thin “hollow-fibers” with an inside diameter of between 0.8 and 2.0 mm with microscopic pores that let water pass through while acting as a barrier to stop dissolved and suspended particles.

The UF membrane used on the system are an “inside-out” configuration. The UF membrane can be “backwashed” by pumping filtered water in opposite direction of the feed flow through the outside of the fiber. The efficiency of the backwash can be enhanced by adding chemicals (such as acid or hypochlorite) into the backwash water.

The system is designed to operate in conjunction with the UF Filtrate Tank and tap water outlet.

Start-Up & Operation Sequence
1.Connect the feed water inlet, product water output, waste water output
2.Install the security filter and UV lamps, dosing system. Check to make all the valve in right status
3.Connect the power and turn on “power switch” (Emergency stop)
4.Note: Turn on raw water pump 1# in manual status
5.Firstly, set the sand filter, manganese filter, carbon filter and softener to backwash and rinse status. Make sure the waste not entry into the UF membranes. Both filter begin to run. Continue running until the discharge water is clean! They will go to the normal filter status.
6.Turn on the inlet valve, rinse drain valve in manual status. Make sure it runs for 2 mins so that clean UF membranes.
7.When the above steps finished, turn on the all valves and pumps in auto status.
8.The system will running automatically.
9.You can set the running parameters of valves and pump through Touch screen on basis of real requirements.
10.Press the reset bottom, the UF will stop with setting stop procedures

Maintenance
1.Filter cartridges, UF membranes replacing:
(1)PP Filter cartridge’s service life mainly depends on raw water quality, but normally they can service for 3 months if the raw water if from tap.
(2)UF membranes normally can service for 3-4 years. If you found the output rate is decreasing or after chemical cleaning, the product still bad, please replace them.
(3)When the machine running, make sure the tanks of the dosing systems have enough liquor.
